The lecturers of "Advanced topics for Marine Science 2012" under the School of Internet Asia by Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology this year will focus on the marine biology and the marine environmental study. We encourage each and everyone to attend these very interesting lectures.

SOI Asia will hold the "Advanced Topics for Marine Technology and Logistics" course starting from December 15, 2011 - February 15, 2012. The series of lectures will be given by lecturers from Faculty of Marine Engineering, Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (TUMST). This course aims to explain advanced technology and tools of Marine Engineering, Logistics, Information Technology and Maritime Education which are applied for present operation and management of marine industries.

To improve the visibility and digital presence as its offline presence, CONNECT-Asia organizes a series of activities called as CONNECTivity event. The first event “Building Green Society” tele-seminar was successfully held on November 25, 2011 and attracted more than 2000 participants joining through video conference and live streaming. As a continuation of CONNECTivity activities, we would like to announce a new workshop series called "AGORAsia" with World Heritage as the main theme. This series of lectures and workshops will explore the hidden wonder of the engineering, science and technology behind World Heritage. Specialists will share their knowledge about the heritages from the technology and science perspectives and participants are expected to think, discuss and present their views and ideas. |
